Hunters, Jumpers, Equitation and Sport Horse


    Crooked Creek Farm Equestrian Training  LLC offers lessons from beginner to advanced hunter/jumpers and sport horse.  We feel that it is important for riders to learn basic horsemanship.  Our riders learn to ride with fortitude and charm creating a solid foundation for the show ring.  At Crooked Creek we feel that the beginners are the future of the industry and it is important to focus on building skills from the ground up to create well-balanced confident riders.  We encourage students to aspire to not only be good riders but to be good horsemen with his/her focus on the horses care and comfort as well as training.  


 All lessons are scheduled using the scheduler below, unless it is off of regular hours however each rider must create an account below in the scheduler.  Same day cancellations will be charged in full unless illness with absence of school or doctor visit.  All Cancellations or changes are to be made by contacting or 678-464-1622

Lesson packages of 4 must be prepaid.  Lessons not prepaid will be charged at our individual rate, Half hour $35, Hour $60.  Packages are intended to be used within a 30 days.  Payments may be made via Paypal to or by check.  Please note that payment made via paypal please add 4% for paypal fees.  

Half Hour $35 or $130 for 4

Offered for lower level riders only, will not jump more then a few cross-rails, half hour lessons may have up to two riders per lesson.

Hour Lessons $60 or $220 for 4

Hour Lessons may have up to 3 riders per lesson,

Home School Discount $200 for 4 one hour lessons

Offered for riders that ride prior to 3pm on weekdays year round, must be  prepurchased in set of 4

Package of 4 expires if not used within 30 Days

Boarders/Lease $200 for 4 one hour lessons

Must be paid on the first of each month with board and all lessons must be used with in that month.




Horse Shows


At Crooked Creek Farm we participate in GHJA Local horse shows, some "A" rated shows as well as compet Nationally for breed specific associations.  We encourage our riders to have a competitive edge but also to exhibit good sportsmanship and be a strong support team for one another. 


Local  GHJA shows are 2 day shows and riders are encouraged to participate in both days.    We attend several of these through out the year.  Riders that do not own or lease a horse may have the opportunity to lease a horse for shows on a show by show bases.



Riders must lesson weekly in order to show or may be charged additional schooling fee per day.  Riders must sign up no later than one week prior to the show or will be charged a $25 late fee and may be asked to pay a nonrefundable deposit at time of sign up that will be deducted from schooling/trailer fee for the show. If rider cancels  showing with in one week of the show will be charged a $50 cancelation fee (if no deposit has been paid).

Summer Camp 9am-1pm

Our summer camp will consist of several great activities for your child!  Camp will include a minimum of one hour lesson held daily by one of our riding instructors.  In addition to riding your child will learn about daily care for the horses including but not limited to bathing, clipping, farm chores and much more! We have tons of exciting activities for rain or shine! 

Unlike most camps we will have a visit from GA Doves where we will learn about different birds and have the opportunity to hold and release into the wild and much more. We have wonderful activities planned for rain as well.  Each rider will have the opportunity to win prizes in our many games and fun contest and create life long memories and new friends. 

Our Camp will be limited to 6 participants for each camp so that each rider will receive adequate personal attention so that he or she may learn all they can and enjoy every moment. 

Early drop off and late pick up may be arranged if needed for a fee of $15 per hour.

Campers will need to bring the following each day:

1.Snug fitting helmet (preferably a riding helmet) and boot with heal.  These can be purchased at Dover Saddlery in Alpharetta or at Tractor Supply or Horse Town

2. Long pants to ride in

3. Change of clothes

4. Bathing suit, towel and flip flops or swim shoes

5. Lunch, snacks and drinks for the day

6. Sunscreen and bug spray

Camp fee is $325 per week, a nonrefundable $100 deposit must be paid at time of registration to hold a riders spot. 


IEA Teams


Interscholastic Equestrian Association

Our farm offers a Middle School and High School level Equestrian Team.  The team is designed to allow riders that do not own as well as own a horse to be able to compete on a team as an equestrian.  Riders must be in grades 6-12 by may attend ANY school along with home schooled

Riders practice in team practices two times per month and compete 5 times a year in regular season shows.  Our regular season runs from August thru January  with sign ups beginning in May.  Post season runs thru April with up to 3 additional competitions (Regionals, Zones and Nationals).  Riders can qualify as an individual and as a team for post season shows.  Riders may also letter with the USEF lettering program.
